Kenneth Lee Anderson

Kenneth Lee Anderson, age 83, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Muskegon. He was born on March 11, 1933 in Ludington, MI. Kenneth was married for 47 years to Sharon Kay Shirk and she preceded him in death on November 29, 2016. Kenneth was a member of the Mason County Minor League Baseball Hall of Fame, a former little league baseball coach, a Merchant Marine, former scout master, a carpenter and contractor. He had a special passion for baseball, football and fishing and was a big fan of the Detroit Tigers and Lions. He is survived by three sons, Rick (Susan), Mike and Dan, two daughters, Linda and Karen, grandchildren and great grandchildren, two brother-in-laws, two sister-in-laws, many nieces, nephews and cousins, a special caregiver, Qontiki Wyrick and his dog, Corky. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Violet and one sister, Sally. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to Men of Honor, PO Box 1341, Rowlett, TX. 75030-1341 in lieu of flowers.
