Karen was born in Muskegon to Francis (Buck) and Alice Somers. She was a life-long resident of Fruitport, MI, who attended Oak Ridge School. Karen married Dorian Marchmon in 1964. She was loved dearly and will be missed by many. Karen will be remembered for her spunky, kind heart, and her love for her cats
She is survived by her husband, Dorian Marchmom; Son, Allan Marchmon; Granddaughter, Nikkella Marchmon; and brother, Francis Somers.
She is preceded in death by her parents Francis (Buck) and Alice Somers.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 12:00pm - 1:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at Ever Rest Funeral Home, 1783 East Keating Avenue, Muskegon, Michigan 49442. burial will take place immediately following at Sunrise Memorial Garden, 2188 Remembrance Dr, Muskegon, MI 49442.
