Mr. James Donald Sharp, age 71, went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Jacquelyn (Chamberlain); daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Gee of Muskegon; four grandchildren, David Sharp (Michelle), Matthew Sharp, Jacob Gee and Amber Gee; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Christiansen and Rosie (Ted) Mikkelson both of Montague; many nieces and nephews; close friend, Robert “Butch” Fogg of Montague. Jim was preceded in death by his son, David; parents; two sisters, Nancy Higgins and Mary Jo Rambo. He had retired from CWC in 1997 and recently worked at Habitat for Humanity. Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Evanston Avenue Baptist Church, 1188 Evanston Ave., where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Burial at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to Habitat for Humanity.
