Jade "Nugget" Arakawa Jennings

Jade was born in Muskegon, MI. on August 21, 1995 to Rebecca (Osborne) Jennings and John Thomas Jr. Jade had so much love for her sons, Leonidas "Leo-Peo" and Ezra Thomas. She was an I.T. Technician and Entrepreneur. Jade loved exploring new things whether it be food, places, people or thought provoking ideas. Jade was an avid media consumer. She loved manga, anime, and any obscure content she could find. She had a knack for video games and was a dedicated Super Smash Bros player. She loved to draw and spray paint. She had remarkable musical talent and a love for playing bass guitar. She wanted to make jazz and funk music. Jade was an independent thinker and did not live by society's rules. She wanted to leave her mark on the world and do her best to help injustices. She was wonderfully stubborn, sentimental, and valued family first. She cherished the friends and family who supported her and remained by her side in time of need. Jade will be missed for her eccentric tastes, kind heart, loving smile, and insane sense of humor.

Jade is survived by: her children, Leonidas "Leo-Peo" and Ezra Thomas; her parents, Rebecca and Terry Jennings of Newaygo, MI; siblings, Kirsten "K-Dog" Osborne, Akasha Jennings, Terry Jennings, Alex Rowley, Haellee Walker, Alexis Thomas, Dixie Nicholes, Michael Nicholes, Ethan Thomas, LeAnne (Thomas) Lazar, Jacob Thomas; bonus moms, Tina (Applegate) Chirco and Cynthia (Rowley) Huffmier; partner Katelynn Foster; many Aunts, Uncles; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as treasured friends and many online friends.

Preceded in death by: grandfathers, Lloyd Earl Osborne, Roy Jennings, John Lee Thomas Sr.; grandmothers, Loretta Joy Osborne, Nancy Jennings and Ruby Nell Thomas.

A Celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2023 starting at 2 PM and continuing throughout the afternoon at 8312 Spruce Avenue Newaygo MI 49337.
