Helen M. King (Hain), age 90 of Muskegon, passed away in the loving arms of her family on December 19, 2014 at Mercy Hospital. She was born to Frank Sr. and Theresa Sirianni in Carbondale, PA on May 14, 1924. Helen was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW 446. Within the Auxiliary, she volunteered for many things with the Veterans Hospital in Grand Rapids, including making lap blankets for the residents. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her purpose in life. She was a wonderful homemaker, she loved to camp with her family and also enjoyed going out to dinner every Friday night with the Nelson Place residents. Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her late husbands, Joseph Hain, who passed away on April 14 1965, and Ora King, who passed away on August 19, 2001; and her sisters, Catherine Belmonte, Mary Sirianni, and Connie Sirianni. She is survived by her children, Mary (Terry) Armstrong, and Rose (William) Corley; her grandchildren, Terry (Paula) Armstrong Jr., William J. (Agata) Corley, James M. (Robin) Corley, and Joseph B. (Danella) Armstrong; her great grandchildren, Corbin J. Corley, Logan M. Duzan, Taylor E. Armstrong, Garrett, Blake, Carrie, and Joey M. Armstrong; her siblings, Nancy Panozzo, Joseph (Harriett) Sirianni, Frank Sirianni Jr., Theresa Perry, and Carmel (Bill) Greer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A funeral for Helen will take place on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11am at Our Lady of Assumption Church; 2964 W. Winston Rd in Rothbury, MI. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service, starting at 10am. Officiating will be Fr. Norman Droski. Interment will take place at Assumption Cemetery in Rothbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary VFW 446, Our Lady of Assumption Church, or Harbor Hospice of Muskegon.
