Harvey R. Patterson, age 85 passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Harvey is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hazel; children, Debra K. (Bob) Christensen, Ronald D. Patterson, Donald L. Patterson, Thomas A. (Sheila Carroll) Patterson; grandchildren, Robert (Alison) Christensen, Sarah Christensen, Thomas Patterson, Lila Patterson, Brandy (Ryan) Aldrige, and Stephanie Patterson; two great-granddaughters; siblings, Newman (Donna) Patterson and Lois (Ernest) Lowery. He was preceded in death by a son, Harvey Ray Patterson, Jr.; two sisters, Vera Bursey and Floy Francisco; two brothers, Howard and Lindell Patterson. Harvey was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post #9. He was retired from Knoll Group/Shaw Walker. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to American Legion Post #9.
