Frank "Tex" Phillips, Sr. age 83, passed away at home under the loving care of his family on October 8, 2010. Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara (German) Phillips; sons, Bill (Linda), of Flint, Frank Jr. (Pauline), of S.C., Dave (Donna); daughters, Pam (Chip) Gould, Janet Eskola, and Robin (Dave) Umlor; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren. Frank was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II and an avid flea marketer. A memorial gathering will be held at Cowboy Jim’s, 1156 E. Broadway Ave. Muskegon on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
