Edward John Cody (Brown), age 46 walked on into the spirit world February 4, 2013. Eddie was blessed to be loved by two loving families, the Cody's and the Brown's. Eddie was born to Mary and Raymond Cody Sr. on November 25 1966 in Muskegon, Mi. Ed was a staff member of Teen Challenge for many years, loved to cook, study the bible, sharing fellowship with others and playing drums. Ed also loved pow-wow's and was getting back to his traditional roots. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Mary Irene and Raymond Francis Cody Sr.; Harold Brown. Surviving are, 6 sisters, Evelyn (Larry) Cody, Patricia (Patrick) Maple, Sara (Benjamin) Thomas, Mona (Dave) Cody, Joyce (Ronald) Robertson, Mary (Stacey) Gibson, 2 brothers, Michael (Barb) Anthony, Raymond (Connie) Cody Jr. Ed is also survived by one of his mom's Shirley Brown; 2 sisters Cheryl (Randy)Nicholson, Chris Brown; brother Joe Brown along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services for Ed will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service
