Clara M. Rorem was born on February 4, 1919 in Inwood, Iowa to the late Walter and Johanna Pedersen and passed away on February 12, 2013. Clara was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Ole, along with two brothers, Roy and Raymond Pedersen. She is survived by her sister, Rita Nash; three children, Rodney (Mary), LeRoy (Doris), and Shirley (Doug) Brantner; 15 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Clara was active in Bible study and was an avid reader and “word searcher”. Clara was a longtime member of Evanston Ave. Baptist Church, 1198 Evanston Ave. where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013. The Reverend Shane Prewitt officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Evanston Ave. Baptist Church.
