Hello, this is for Adam and Cecilia who I never got to meet, my name is Graham Cofer and i was a room mate of Chris and Jennifer when they first got married and we all rented a house in Bluffton from Stan and Annie Denman - we were probably about the same age as you guys are now and I can positively state that Chris was a lot of fun.  I was rarely home since i travelled doing marine construction projects or Grateful Dead shows but when home Chris would take me out sailing with the boat "Hippy Chick" on the crew and we would hang out at the Muskegon Yacht club.  He taught me that sailing wasn't for a bunch of "Thurston Howell III's" but was extremely competitive and hard - we would have blood running from the scuppers sometimes -  your dad would work the foretop handling the spinnakers and the dangerous work.  ( i was just rail meat).  I also remember that he would tell me about how he and his friends would get the reject bowling balls from the Brunswick plant and take them out on Muskegon lake during the winter while they were Ice sailing and send them flying into ice shanties! 
 (I still think that's hilarious)  He was always motivated and hardworking and figuring out how to make a great living.  We touched base several times since I left town in about 96 and he was so proud of both of you.  You guys always have a friend down in Venice Florida.  Ill be praying for you and Chris may he rest in peace.  If there is ever anything i can do  or your in the area, my cell phone is 941-525-0668.

I have been fortunate to consider Chris a close friend for almost 40 years. During that entire period, he was most proud of talking about the accomplishments of his children, Adam and Cecilia. Chris will be sorely missed!  

To all who Chris touched,   Chris will be dearly missed.  He always brought energy to a room, was inclusive, and always made you feel good about yourself.  I wish there were more of him.  Watch over is Chris.

It is so sad to hear of the passing of Chris. I remember when he was first born, what a beautiful baby. I wish that I could have known him as he and Bobby grew up. You and your whole family are in Mary and my prayers.

My condolences to the family. I haven't seen Chris in some years but I'll always remember him for his warm smile and infectious kindness. He was always happy to see me and the feeling was mutual.  It breaks my heart to learn he was in so much pain. He will be missed.

Chris was the best neighbor anyone could hope for. He was always kind and ready to help. It was a real blessing to watch what a great father he was to Adam and Cecelia. He will truly be missed. Prayers for his children and Tina.

Prayers are being sent to  his dad and brother..... how sad .... I have so many memories of Chris...  especially his first jeep...  when him and I  - Curt and Bobby were out mud running...  We had lost the back seat with the boys in it.. and we were laughing so hard that we did not know we lost them...  another time was the chewing tabacco...  and making jelly... smiles so many ... sending more prayers for the family and friends...  


You were my neighbor, a friend of my sons and most recently a friend of mine.  You were so polite and wonderful to me these past couple of years and you will be sorely missed.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. I have known Chris for quite awhile he was always sailing if he wasn't working .His children meant the world to him. We worked together and became extended family . He will be missed. My Love and prayers to Linda, Denny and the family.

I knew Chris and his family when they lived in the Bluffton area of Muskegon.  So sorry to hear that  he died so young.  Our thoughts and hearts are with the family.   Our granddaughter was also friends with his daughter when they were young kids at Bluffton school. Rest in peace young man.
