Betty Rose, age 84 of Norton Shores, passed away on January 18, 2017. Above all, family was most important to Betty. She loved to cook big meals for everyone, had a soft spot in her heart for little ones, and was always there for anyone in need. She was a skilled bargain hunter, and often was buying gifts for people she loved. She was a beloved wife and mother, and opened her heart to everyone she met. She will be dearly missed. Betty was preceded in death by all of her siblings, and by an infant daughter, Mary Lynn Rose. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ray; Son Randy; Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved extended family. Visitation will be held Monday, January 23, 2017 from 12:00-2:00pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. A luncheon will be at First Baptist Church, 1070 S. Quarterline Road. Please bring a dish to pass. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
