Benjamin Ben E. Dorotinsky II

Benjamin E. Dorotinsky II MD, age 59 of Muskegon, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 in the loving arms of his family. He was born October 12, 1956 in Detroit, MI to Benjamin and Vera Dorotinsky. Ben was an Eagle Scout in his younger years. He served 8 years for Muskegon Family Care as a family doctor. Ben loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He also enjoyed traveling, hiking, astronomy, and the outdoors. Ben is survived by his wife, Kim Dorotinsky; his children, Brianna Dorotinsky, Trenton (Amber) Teesdale, Lesley (Ryan) Pennington, and Tyler Teesdale; his grandchildren, Roman and Lucas, Caleb, and Randi, Ezekiel, Malachi, and Violet; his siblings, William (Cathy) Dorotinsky, Don (Jennifer) Betts, Randy (Tracy) Betts, and Chad Betts; his father and mother-in-law, Don and Diane Betts; and many extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service for Ben will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 12pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel; 1783 E. Keating Ave. in Muskegon. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11am. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to disperse toward outstanding medical expenses for patients under his care at Muskegon Family Care.
