Mrs. Alice May Hardy, age 73, died on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. She was born in Muskegon on May 19, 1937 to Harry and Julia (Hinton) Symons. Alice is survived by her children, Shelly (Jeff) Facchini, Michael Hardy, Thelma (Steven L.) Drake and Debbie Hardy, all of Muskegon; step-children, Gina and Steven; 8 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Symons of Lansing, MI; former husband, Robert Jensen of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert Hardy in 1969; sisters, Maxine Koomen and Suzie Huntley; brother, Richard Symons. Alice loved Bingo, country music and her grandchildren. She was a volunteer for the Commission on Aging and had attended Hope Lighthouse Mission Church, 444 Irwin, where a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday April 29, 2011 with Pastor Doug Malear officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family c/o Hope Lighthouse Mission Church.
