Alexa Wilcox Anderson

Our dearly treasured daughter, sister, aunt, partner, and mentor passed away unexpectedly on March 17th, 2024 in Grand Haven, Michigan.

Lexy was born at Blodgett Hospital on July 15, 1967. She graduated from East Grand Rapids High School in 1987, then continued her studies earning her B.A. in English from Tulane University. She was a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at Tulane. After graduating in 1991, Lexy pursued a career spanning two decades in upper management at Victoria’s Secret. Her greatest legacy is her mentorship of young women who were learning to navigate their lives and careers. If anyone under her wings was in need, Lexy made sure they knew that they were not alone. She focused on teaching them how to meet their own needs while simultaneously growing in their careers.

Lexy is survived by her mother Sandra Anderson; her sisters Whitney (Patrick) Jensen and Megen Latimer; her nieces Austa Jensen (Lecky Simons) and Elizabeth “Libby” Latimer, and her nephew Dr. James (Akanksha) Jensen; and her life partner, Stanley Hall.

She was preceded in death by her father Louie Anderson and her beloved brother-in-law Erik Latimer.

A private family service is being held in Grand Haven with a Celebration of Life to be held this summer. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name may be made to Hope House C/O Love in Action. 326 N. Ferry Road, Grand Haven, Michigan 49417.
