William “Bill” Morgan Crafton, age 89 of Murfreesboro, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at AHC Northside in Murfreesboro. He was born January 19, 1932, in Rockvale, Tennessee, the son of James Wynder Crafton and Mary Jane Wright Crafton.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 65 years, Katherine Louise Crafton, two sisters, Mary Frances Painter and Eleanor Ruth Johnson, and one son, Brian Keith (Tammy) Crafton. He is survived by one son, Scott Morgan Crafton of Gallatin, and two daughters, Lynda Colleen Crafton of Temple, Texas, and Shannon Lea (Clayton) Ledford of Murfreesboro. Eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home located at 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
