Shanna Marie Gibson

Shanna Marie Gibson, age 37, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 1 2021. She is survived by her children, Ju’Core Blackman and Taliyah Gibson both of Murfreesboro; life-long friend, Deandrae Blackman; mother, Katherine Ann Haddock Johnson of Lebanon; father, William “Billy” Leslie Gibson of Nashville; grandmother, Wanda Sue Haddock of Lavergne; sister, Katrina Michelle Johnson Brady and her husband Daniel of Lebanon and April Dawn Ornate and her husband Koma of Lewisburg; and brother, Jeremy Ray Johnson and his wife Alicia of Lebanon. Services to celebrate Shanna will be at 2:30pm Monday at Roselawn Funeral Home with placement to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ju’Core Blackman, Austin Hayes, Deandrae Blackman, Jonathan Fuqua, Daniel Brady and Jeremy Johnson. Shanna was a devoted mother to her children and wanted them to be the best they could be. She was a manager at a local McDonald’s for 13 years and had studied Criminal Justice at Daymar College. She loved to go to yard sales and look for those hidden treasures. She worked tirelessly to have as beautiful a yard as she could have, thru landscaping and gardening. She loved movies of all types and she loved music of many different genres. Friends are cordially invited to visitation also on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 12:00noon until the service begins at 2:30pm.
