Robert and I got to know each other for the
First back in 2016.  He was a very unique man whom I have fondly looked back on over the years since. It is a loss to us all that he is gone! My prayers to his closest friends and family! He was a great person. 

I recently heard about Pat's passing. I was a Antioch H.S. student when Pat attended. Pat always had a cheerful smile, and attitude. I was drafted in '70,  I joined the Silent Service (Navy), and never returned home. However; there were many, I remember, and some who touched me. Pat was real. Oh Pat you know how I will miss you.   He was there for me in thick and thin.  I could call on Pat anytime night or day and he would be there for me.  Who else in this world can say that, well hang on to them.  It is a luxury  priceless and when they are no longer earth bound your life will just never be the same. Thank you Pat for everything, for making me feel pretty, always wanting to make life a little  bit better for me. Too little time. I will see you again someday, we have talked about that many times. No goodbyes. ❤

So sorry to hear about Pat. He and I worked at Firestone in the mid seventies and lived near one another in Meadow Brook subdivision and then we both moved to Lake farm. My condolences to his family and his other friends. We will miss him. 

Pat is such a wonderful man,,I met  him only once in May 2019, we needed help with parakeet birds and he did help us. RIP

Pat Duke. My dear friend. What would my life have been like if not for you? I don't remember the very first time we met, but it has been a roller coaster ride every since.  Sometime along the 9th grade in school for me at Antioch High School. We  were what? 15 years old? Then double dating the following year. You joined the Air Force four months before I did. Fast forward a couple of years and we were driving around solving all of the worlds problems. Our first major move---Me you and Toni, in an apartment together on Murfreesboro Rd. Look out women. June1982. You were my best man at my wedding. Good times in the log cabin. Settle down. Jobs Houses, Marriage. Divorce. You always stood by me. By now we have changed from teenage kids to middle age men. We never know what life holds for us. We live lifes' up and downs. Through it all, we were always there for each other. Heartaches. Births and deaths. I moved away from Nashville, but Pat was always there when I came to town looking for a place to rest my weary head. We had some fun times. We had some great times. Life has been good to us. We talked, boy could we talk. Hour after hour after hour of sharing, listening to each other about what was going on in our lives. We offered advice. We critizied. I always knew I could count on Pat. He didn't always tell me what I wanted to hear, but usually told me what I needed to hear. And I listened. Pat I know that my life will never be the same with you no longer here to share our stories with each other. I do know that I have lived a much fuller life since you were a part of it. I miss my friend, my "brother from another Mother." You can finally be at peace. I love you my brother. May God be with you always.

Pat was a good man that chose life and love of people and animals and all of Gods creation. He befriended many and expected nothing in return and I am so grateful to have known him. I believe he is in Gods loving presence now and living fulling in love and joy
 on the other side.

Pat, you will truly be missed. You were friends to many and your daily inspirational messages will be missed also.  Your photography skills were amazing, you took a picture of me at one of the luncheons and I have to say it was the best picture of me ever. I know you are no longer in pain and you are where we all want to be. Rest In Peace my friend. Prayers for Sandra and family.

I met Pat at the Krystal in Smyrna and had coffee with he and two-three others.  He was a  friend,a caring person, I was looking forward to more times of sharing good conversations with my friend.Rest in Peace my friend. God be with the family. Cherish

I am so sorry to hear about Pats passing.we all at Bridgestone called him Pat .he was a great person always friendly with a smile on his face .i know he will be greatly missed by family and friends .he had. Great Love for God.R.I.P my Friend

Pat Duke ~ Holy and Almighty God, you are awesome, glorious, and majestic. We praise you for reaching down and saving us by your grace. Father, most of the time our faith is strong and we feel confident about our future. However, at times our faith can waver when we are confronted with grave difficulties. Give us courage and boldness, dear God, to face those challenges with the conviction that they are actually minor in comparison to the glory you will share with us when Jesus returns.
