Rex Henry Parker

Rex Henry Parker, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Parker was the son of the late Henry Elba and Lessie Mae Gean Parker. He is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Mary Ann Sanders Parker; daughter, Andrea Dawn Parker Mullins and her husband Don; son, Greg Parker and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Ryan Parker and Heather Parker; sisters, Glenda Crews and her husband Mickey and Carolyn Little. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Christine Hill, Garland Parker, Thomas Parker, Alice Clayborne and Faye Johns. Services to celebrate Mr. Parker will be at One O’clock the afternoon of Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Cornwell officiating. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are cordially invited to visitation also on Saturday from Eleven in the morning until the service begins at One O’clock.

Mr. Parker was employed as a printer with Rand McNally, where he printed airline tickets among other items. He loved to play golf and took many daytrips with friends to play many of the local golf courses. He was even known to fly with friends to play and return home afterwards.
