Randy Derrick Holmes

Randy Derrick Holmes, age 58, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Stonecrest Medical Center. Mr. Holmes was the son of the late B.H. and Polly Keith Holmes. He is survived by his wife, Kimberley Holmes; daughter, Amber Holmes; grandson, Leland Holmes; granddaughter, Nevaeh Smith; brothers; Darrell Holmes and Donnie Allison; brothers-in-law, Scottie Truesdale, Michael Truesdale and Kent Williams.

Services for Mr. Holmes will be at Eleven O’clock the morning of Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Friends are cordially invited to visitation Wednesday evening from Four O’clock till Eight O’clock also at Roselawn Funeral Home.

Randy was an accomplished athlete at Smyrna High School in football and baseball. He was offered scholarships to play in college in both sports. He decided to join the family business, B.H. Holmes Construction, instead. Being very successful in business, Randy was able to be very charitable to local law enforcement agencies and those less fortunate than he was. He loved football, specifically the Tennessee Titans. He loved to play golf until an injury limited his ability to continue playing. NASCAR was a passion of his. He even sponsored cars in the past. Randy also really enjoyed games of chance and cards was his favorite.
