Upon his return to the United States he worked at Asurion in Smyrna TN as a repair technician. One of Phil’s greatest passions in life was music. Phil was a talented guitarist. Many of his friends and family were awed by his skill and most recall meeting him and spending time with him either through or surrounded by music. Phil was a most loving and caring man and had countless friendships develop over the years that will last forever. Services to celebrate Phil’s life will be at Eleven o’clock on the morning of April 11, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. One of his favorite sayings was “And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make” Phil left his mark on this world that many of us aspire to. His legacy is that of an unselfish, giving, loving and honest life that he encouraged in others. Our lives were fuller with Phil in them and his memory encourages us that though man is fallible he can overcome adversity and become an example that brings out the best in all of us.
