Opal Deloris Allen

Opal Deloris Allen, age 82, passed away peacefully March 19, 2020. She was born September 21, 1937 and was one of 13 children born in the family of Mable and J.B. Hinerman. She married her high school sweetheart, our Dad, Sammie Lee Allen, June 25, 1955. Dad took his step towards heaven October 27, 2017. They were blessed with 62 years of marriage.

As with many families that have lost loved ones during 2020 due to COVID-19, our family delayed a celebration of life, and will be gathering one year later to celebrate and remember our mother. We hope that you will join us, Friday, March 19th at Roselawn Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, TN. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., with the celebration starting at 6:00 p.m.

This invitation is sent with love by the family of Opal and Sammie Allen; Son, Don Allen and his wife Sheila; daughters Dianna Stephens and her husband Randy, Laura Allen, and Peggy Brandon and her husband Mike. Grandchildren Carrie Moore, Melissa Lannom, Chris Brandon and his wife Morgan, Katie Mace and her husband Drew, Emily Brandon, Sara Slomsky and Steven Brandon; great grandchildren, Savannah Tuggle, Sydney Skelding, Sophia Tuggle, Addison Brandon, Isabela Moore, and Sammie Brandon.

In lieu of flowers, we have continued to support one of Mom’s ministries thru Healing Hands International with a fund in Mom’s memory.

Due to the current health situation, we will "Live Stream" the Celebration on our Facebook page, Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens- Murfreesboro, TN.
