Martha Montgomery

Sara Martha Montgomery, affectionately known as Martha, age 77, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Woodbury Nursing Center. Mrs. Montgomery was the daughter of the late Bill and Estelle Henson Cork. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Douglas M. Montgomery, Sr, who passed away in 2020 and by her sister, Billie Ruth Higgins. She is survived by her sons, Douglas M. Montgomery, Jr. and his wife Lisa Marie and William Randal “Randy” Montgomery and his wife Stephannie; grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Montgomery, Taylor Claire Montgomery and Matthew Ryan Montgomery; and great grandson, Braxton Alexander Montgomery. Graveside services to celebrate Mrs. Montgomery will be at Four O’clock the afternoon of Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be Wednesday afternoon from 3:30pm until 4:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Mrs. Montgomery was a longtime employee of Captain D’s, having worked in hospitality and also in the Information Technology Department.
