Jimmy Edward Holmes

Jimmy Edward Holmes, age 64, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He is survived by his life long partner Cathy Pope; his fur babies Smokey and Sheba; son, Shaun Holmes (Christy); daughter, Tiffany Busby (Marc); daughter, Jamie Schaaf; daughter, Sonia Slone (Andrew); grandchildren, Andrew, Callie, Ben, Tristen, Logan, Caitlyn, Cheyanne, Berlin, Mary, Adrian, Augustus, and Odis; father in-law John H. Pope (Diane), sister in-law Debby King (John), brother in-law John P. Pope, brother in-law Fred Pope, brother in-law Mike Szuba; special people: grandson, Paul Guadalupe, Jeremy Jones, Lisa Davis and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be at 12:00 pm noon on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Roselawn Funeral Home with placement to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday evening March 4th and also Friday morning from 10:00 am until the service begins at 12:00 pm noon.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Wentz Holmes, Alpha Gilbert Holmes, sister, Debbie Szuba. Due to the current health situation, we are not accepting food into the funeral home. If you would like to provide food for the family, we ask that you contact them for delivery to their home.
