Janice Marie King, age 56, of Smyrna, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, James Alton Meadows. Ms. King is survived by her children, James (Brittany L.) Bryant, Jennifer (Greg) Tomlin and John Bryant; mother, Barbara J. Meadows; sisters, Mary (Jim) McGaughy and Cindy (John) Denham; brother, Jimmy Lee (Sherri Scruggs) Meadows; grandchildren, Kayla and Jesse Tomlin, Kelsey Bryant and Brianna Dickson; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Chambers, Jessica McAfee, Tiffany Samson, Michael Austin, and Kenneth Dixon; and her puppy that she rescued, Ricky. Services for Ms. King will at Two O’Clock the afternoon of Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Gerald Prior officiating. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Ms. King was an employee of Bridgestone, loved to scrapbook and quilt. She was also a photographer, played the flute and guitar.
