Gerald Michael Johnson, age 57, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 17, 2022. Michael was the son of Bonnie Irene Bess Johnson and the late Gerald Martin Johnson. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Garrett Michael Johnson; grandson Grayson Michael Johnson; sisters Terri Dale (James) Jones, Karen Marie (Charlie) Liddle, and Teresa Mai Johnson (Karen Smith); and many nieces and nephews.
Many knew Michael as "Cowboy" as he helped his Uncle Pete work and train horses as a young man. Michael later became an HVAC specialist and worked at his father's company. Recently, he was working at Huskey and Truss in Murfreesboro. He loved spending time with his son and grandson. Food and watching the TN Titans football were two of his favorite things to do. Whenever possible Michael fished and found new "honey holes." Cowboy will be missed by many! RIP, Brother.
A private graveside celebration will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors.
