Frances Marie Nicholson, age 79, of Nolensville and long time resident of Nashville, passed away at the home of her son, on Thursday evening, July 9, 2015. Ms. Nicholson was the daughter of the late Carlie and Monnie Sells Winningham. Frances was a loving mother and doting grandmother. She was also a devoted Christian and a long-time member of East Trinity Lane Church of Christ. Frances worked over 30 years as a compassionate and caring nurse, having worked at Nashville General Hospital, St. Thomas Hospital and retired from Edgefield Hospital. Ms. Nicholson is survived by her sons, Glenn (Kim) Nicholson and Dean Nicholson; grandchildren, Kayla, Natalie, Daniel, Stephen, Chandra and Natoshia; great grandchildren, Zayden, Noah, Luke and Chinar; and sister, Fammie Simcox. . A service to celebrate her life will be Monday afternoon at Two O’clock at East Trinity Lane Church of Christ. Visitation will be Monday from Twelve noon until the service begins at Two.
