David Eugene Wakefield, Sr.

David Eugene Wakefield, Sr., age 64, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away at his home on Monday, July 19, 2021 surrounded with the love of his immediate family. He is the son of the late Thomas and Nellie Wakefield. David is survived by his best friend and loving wife Pat Wakefield; daughter, Shannon Rizzo-Wakefield; son, David Eugene Wakefield, Jr. and his wife Ashley; granddaughters the lights of his life, Emily and Evelyn Wakefield.

Celebration of Life gathering for Mr. Wakefield will be at Six O’clock the evening of Friday, July 23, 2021 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Family and Friends are invited to gather together to have a celebration in his honor on Friday afternoon from Three O’clock to Six O’clock.

In lieu of flowers his family wishes for support to carry on his memory by building a school in Honduras with Boundless Foundation. The Foundation was founded by his daughter, Shannon to enhance the lives of children to provide the opportunity for an education that otherwise would not be possible.
