Charlotte Benson

Charlotte was diagnosed with Post Partum Psychosis but She lived her biggest, best life while struggling severely for over 50 years with that mental illness. She gave everything she had to give to her family and friends on her good days and lived and shared her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ with all. For that we are grateful.

Charlotte was proceeded in death by her husband David Ronald Benson and mother Francis Elizabeth Ellis. Charlotte is survived by her father William Myrl Ellis (100-yrs old) who has been residing with her at Waterford Assisted Living. Charlotte is also survived by her son Robert D. Benson, daughter Rhonda Benson Gore (Darren) and daughter-in-law Michele Benson Hunt; brother William “Bill” Ellis II (Phillip) and sister Dianne Sudymont (Walter), grandchildren Tanner Gore (Emily), Wesley Benson, Kelsey Benson, Greyson Gore, Reed Gore, and Jacob Hunt; great grandchildren Greer Gore and Olin Gore; two nieces and many other family and friends.

We want mom and others to know we love her and look forward to seeing her in her heaven!

Graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Benson will be at Eleven O'clock the morning of Monday, May 15, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129.
