Charles Allen “Chuck” Griffith, age 65, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday evening. Mr. Griffith was the son of Robert Lee Griffith and the late Judith Ann Wright Griffith. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Paula Griffith; daughters, Heather McAtee and her husband Bobby and Ashley Jansen and her husband John; father, Robert Lee Griffith; siblings, George Griffith and his wife Kelly; Michele Traina and her husband Joe and Debbie Whitlock; grandchildren, Ariel McAtee, Bryant McAtee, Bella Jansen and Jack Jansen; great grandson, Kru Bullard.
Service to celebrate Mr. Griffith will be at 11:30am Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Roselawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are cordially invited to visitation from 4:00pm till 8:00pm Friday, August 23, 2024 also at Roselawn Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Rick Chapman, John Jansen, Bruce Logan, Bobby McAtee, Bryant McAtee and Jerry Hart.
Chuck was born in Vermilion, OH and lived there for 22 years before he and Paula moved to Houston, TX. They later relocated to Smyrna, where Chuck began working at Nissan. He worked as a Parts Analyst for 20+ years before retiring in 2004. Chuck was an avid hunter and loved riding his Harley Davidson Road King. He not only survived cancer, but also a motorcycle accident and diabetic coma. Needless to say, he had 9 lives. Chuck will “indubitably” be missed by his family.
