Mrs. Burgess was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church and retired after 30 years as an Administrative Assistant with Dean’s Kitchen Center of Nashville.
Mrs. Burgess was lovingly known as Grandma, Miss Carolyn or Mama B. She was so proud of her grandchildren and bragged on all of them every chance she got. Aside from her blood family, she had hundreds of “adopted” children and grandchildren that will miss her very much. The impact she had was far reaching and her love for her Lord showed in everything she did and it showed in the love and care she gave to others. And aside from being known for her care of others, she was also known for being an amazing cook! We’ll all miss that too. Even though our hearts are broken, we know she is at the feet of Jesus and hearing “Well done.” So, it’s not goodbye forever, but we’ll see you soon!
