Arthur Lloyd St. John

Arthur Lloyd St. John, age 81, of Pensacola, Florida, formerly of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at his home. He was the son of the late Robert and Estelle Howard St. John. In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his siblings, Melvin, Daryl, Wayne, Jerry, Edith Stone, Doris Baker and Barbara Jean Maklem. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Gloria Meadors St. John; sons, Jeffrey L. St. John and his wife Adora of Pensacola, FL and Darien Keith St. John and his wife Dell of Foley, AL; daughter, Jill DeAnn Brewer and her husband Geron of Tracy City, TN; grandchildren, Jay-R, Krystal, Jennifer, Tyler, Trevor, Michael, William, Zack, Holly and Kendall; Eight great grandchildren and sister, Joyce McPherson. Service to celebrate Lloyd will be at One O’clock the afternoon of Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 5350 NW Broad Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129, with Owen Moody officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will also be Saturday, November 4, 2023 from Eleven in the morning until the service begins at One O’clock.

Lloyd was a Christian, veteran of the United States Navy, wonderful husband, terrific father to three wonderful children, ten grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and friend to all. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Following the committal service all are invited to a Fellowship gathering at First Church of the Nazarene, 1618 Hamilton Drive, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129.
