A native of Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Glenn Wilson and Mamie Ruth NeSmith Wilson.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Brown of Mt. Juliet; one son, Jonathan Brown (Misty) of Franklin; one daughter, Jennifer Brown of Mt. Juliet; and two granddaughters.
Mrs. Brown served as a registered nurse, including at many doctors' offices and hospitals during her decades-long career. She was a devoute Christian, most recently a member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church.
