Alan Dell Capps

With great sadness, The Capps Family announces the passing of Alan Dell Capps of Rockvale, TN on March 27, 2022. Alan was born on October 12, 1968 in Greenville, KY. He is survived by his son, Thomas Capps; daughter, Kayla Capps; parents, Jerry and Norma Capps; brother, Carey Capps (Trina); sister, Tracey Capps LeGrand (Michael), and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rheba Capps; maternal grandparents, Henry and Arthenia Walker; and paternal grandparents, Dallas and Anna Mae Capps.

Alan graduated from Muhlenberg Central High School in Greenville, KY in 1986. Alan was employed by Kennametal in LaVergne, TN as a machinist and has been a dedicated, hardworking employee at this same facility since 1988. He faithfully attended World Outreach Church and served in the youth department. Alan exhibited a quiet, but steadfast faith in Jesus. He was a devoted father to Thomas and Kayla and loyal husband to Rheba for 33 years until her passing in May of 2021.

Services to celebrate Alan’s life will be Ten O’clock the morning of Friday, April 1, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Tim Posch officiating. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are cordially invited to visitation from Four O’clock until Eight O’clock on Thursday evening, March 31, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home. For those unable to attend, we will “Live Stream” the service on our Facebook page, Roselawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens- Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
