William Peterson Jr.

William Edward Peterson Jr., 75, Muncie, entered into Heaven Friday evening, March 15, 2024, at the Brickyard Nursing Home with family by his side. He was born Friday, January 14, 1949, in Muncie, the son of William Edward Peterson Sr., and Mary Helen (Faulkner) Peterson. William loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed camping and fishing. William worked as a truck driver before he retired. He honorably served his country from 1967 until 1975 in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. A loving husband, dad, and papaw, he leaves behind his wife of fifty-one years, Linda (Davis) Peterson; two sons, Eric (partner, Kinley Williams) Peterson, and William Edward (wife, Michelle) Peterson III; and two grandchildren, Riot, and Zion. His parents, William Edward Sr., and Mary Helen Peterson; and a sister, Deborah Brower, preceded him in death. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Glad Tidings Church Muncie North, 5401 West Hessler Road, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Josh Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park with Military Rites conducted by Delaware County Honor Guard.
