Robert J Lambert

He was born Monday, December 30, 1929, in Muncie, the son of George and Clora (Fears) Lambert. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, especially family gatherings and cookouts. He loved working in his garden and years ago he coached a bowling team and softball team. Robert worked as a Machinist at Borg Warner and retired in 1979. Mr. Lambert honorably served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include two sons, Jack (Juva Gibson) Lambert, and Mike (Beverly Miller) Lambert; two daughters, Diana Delk, and Beverly Davis; five grandchildren, including two very close grandsons, Michael and Mitch; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Clora Lambert; his wife, JoAnn (Carter) Lambert; his brother, Donald Lambert; and his sister, Pauline Davis.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park with Military Rites conducted by Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.
