Rick L Skeen

He was born Saturday, January 16, 1954, the son of Howard “Joe” Skeen and Betty (Dalton) Fullington. Rick married his high school sweetheart on June 3, 1972 and they shared fifty years together. He retired from Ardagh after forty-seven years. Rick was a member of Full Gospel Temple, where he played drums on the worship team. He loved reading, gardening, music, which he enjoyed teaching to his grandson Elijah, and going to the movies with his son, Joe. Rick was always willing to help anyone in any way that he could. More than anything, Rick was very devoted to his family.

Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie Skeen; children, Joe Skeen and Melissa (Michael Henry) Skeen-Henry; a grandson, Elijah Hatcher; siblings, Ernie Skeen, Nin Gibson, David Gibson, and Luke Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Mary Ross and Tim Gibson.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
