She was born Thursday, March 15, 1962, the daughter of William and Patricia Marcum. Penny graduated from Yorktown High School in 1980. She was a certified dietician and worked at several nursing homes and country clubs. Penny worked at Workman’s Bar for over twenty years.
Survivors include her children, William (Samantha) Phillips, Stevey Phillips; siblings, Kelly Fields, Terressa Marcum, and Gidget (Tony) McCord; grandchildren, Zachary, Ellen, Anastasia, Teagan, and Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
