Patty Fields

She was born Wednesday, September 11, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Richard and Henriette (Randt) Shinnock.

Patty was a member of The Jar Community Church where she had been involved in the church small group. She was the financial secretary at Muncie Southside High School for several years.

Patty was a kind and loving mother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed crafts, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids and watching them play sports.

Patty is survived by her son, Shaun Farris; daughter, Nicole (Tom) Terrell; sisters, Mary (Harley) South and Erica (Bill) Grooms; grandchildren, Audrey Farris, Bradley and Lucas Terrell, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Chris Bunch officiating.

Visitation will be at Elm Ridge Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
