Marilou Mann

Marilou was born in Petersburg, Indiana, on Friday, November 9, 1923. She graduated from Petersburg High school and attended Lackyears Business College in Evansville. Marilou received a Bachelor’s Degree from Oakland City University and a Master’s Degree from Indiana State University. Marilou taught at Vogel Elementary School in Evansville, Mooresville, and Marion County. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Marilou and Maurice were married for 57 years, survivors include her husband, Maurice B. Mann; daughter, Lenora Jane Baker, Muncie, Indiana; son, Gordon Dale Mann, Muncie, Indiana; and granddaughters, Emily Carson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Rachael Baker, Muncie, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Blake Thomas Carson, and Olivia Carson; nieces, Anita Luke (Frank), West Lafayette, Indiana, and Jeryl Downey, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Marilou was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin W. and Nora Loveless Baldwin; an infant, Howard Wayne Mann; and sisters-in-law, Catherine Lee (Lowell) and Ethel Downey (George).

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 1:00pm, at Grace Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall, 6401 West River Road, Muncie, Indiana, 47304, with Pastor Rory Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.
