Larry E. Duncan

He was born December 21, 1943 in Muncie, the son of Garland and Ruth (Woods) Duncan. Larry was a 1963 graduate of Desoto High School. He raced in his early years and enjoyed old cars and trucks. Larry worked for many years as a Millwright and also owned J & L Lawn Ornaments. He had a love for sports and liked to play basketball with his brothers, sisters and the neighborhood kids. In his free time, Larry loved to travel to Tennessee, fishing and camping with his family and he loved, most of all, spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

Larry is survived by his four daughters, Kimberly Dupuis (Johnathan), Delana Ulmer (Jasen), Vicky Duncan and Candace Lafever, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, 8 siblings, many nieces, nephews and cousins, a special friend Patsy Wildman and best friend of 62 years, Bill Stephens.

He was preceded in passing by his wife of 48 years, Judith Duncan and his son Larry Duncan, Jr., his parents, Garland and Ruth Duncan and his sister Willa Mae Roland.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Muncie.
