She was born on Sunday, February 24, 1935, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorta (Johnson) Myers. JoAnn was a 1953 graduate of Yorktown High School and a graduate of Ball State University School of Practical Nursing. Shortly after graduating she married the love of her life, John Morris, on November 25, 1954 and they shared sixty-seven years together.
JoAnn is survived by her loving husband, John Morris; son, John Eric (Patti) Morris; a sister, Nancy (James) Blevins; grandsons, Matthew Morris, Alex (Brittney) Morris, and Christopher (Hanna) Morris; great-grandchildren, Owen Morris, Harper Morris, and Mara Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dorta (Johnson) Myers; sisters, Barbara (Mark) Matlin and Cheri (Robert) Cox; and her brother, Ronald Myers.
