He was born in Muncie, Indiana on April 2, 1965,the son of Jerry Ozbun Sr. and Joyce (Houk) Ozbun. Jimmy was a giving person who constantly looked for ways to help others. He loved working with his hands, but more than anything he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandson, Jayden. Jimmy was a family man.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce (Houk) Ozbun; girlfriend, Sherry Bunch; brother, Jerry Ozbun Jr.; sisters, Sharon (David) Gentry, Phyllis Carney, and DeAnna (Bill) Doggett; his grandson, Jayden Ozbun; and his special friend, Lendoll Reed.
He was preceded in passing by his father, Jerry Ozbun Sr.; his daughter, Joyce Joette Ozbun; sister, Sandra Cunningham; and sister-in-law, Sandra Ozbun.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Elm Ridge Memorial Park, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
