Helen A McCutcheon

Helen was born Thursday, March 12, 1964, in Muncie, Indiana, to James Delaney and Helen (Whitaker) Hardin. Helen went to Southside High School. She married Joseph McCutcheon on March 14, 1995 and they shared twenty-five years together.

Helen attended Full Gospel Temple. She worked as a CNA for Parkview Nursing Home, and then worked for over thirty years at Ball Memorial Hospital. Most recently, she worked as a Clinical Secretary in 4E Physical Rehabilitation Department. Helen was also on the Morale Committee at the hospital. She was always remembering people’s birthdays and baking cakes. Helen also loved cats.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Joseph McCutcheon; brothers, Matthew Delaney, John Hardin Jr., James Hardin, and Joseph (wife, Letecia) Hardin; sisters, Nancy (husband, Jack) Miller, Glenda (husband, Terry) Ruddick, Jackie Cranor, Rose (husband, Ricky) Becktell; a brother-in-law, Charles Moore; aunt, Marla Whitaker; uncle, Gene Whitaker; and several nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, James Delaney and Helen Hardin; step-father, John Hardin Sr.; brother, Byron Sears; sisters, Mary Webb, Shirley Moore, and Virginia Delaney.

Calling hours for family and friends will be Sunday, December 13, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 13, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
