He was born Saturday, October 19, 1969, in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Guy Paul Cook Sr. and Alice Lavonne Hefley. Guy liked spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, sight-seeing at the reservoir, coin collecting, and traveling. Guy was a member of the Local Bricklayers Union.
Survivors include his daughters, Brittany Cook, Mae Alice Cook, Katie Cook, and Gracee Pauline Cook.
His parents preceded him in death.
Elm Ridge Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
