Gregory "Greg" Kellow, 64, Anderson, IN, passed away at Ball Memorial Hospital on October 24, 2024 after a lengthy illness. Greg was born in Muncie, Indiana on August 9, 1960 to J.C. and Betty Kellow.
He attended school in Yorktown, but his best childhood memories were made growing up on The Kellow Family Farm in Daleville. Greg held several jobs such as farming, landscaping with his brother, Jay, and at Maplehurst Dairy before becoming a Stay at Home Dad to his three daughters.
Greg married Dana Ivery on December 7, 1984. They were married just shy of 40 years. He was baptized at Westside Church of Christ by Owen Ivery in November of 1981. Greg and Dana attended Columbus Avenue Church of Christ, in Anderson.
Greg had an amazing spirit that brought joy to all those who knew him. He loved practical jokes, dominating at arm wrestling matches, scary movies, and collecting knives. But above all, Greg loved his family: his dear brother and sisters, his 3 beautiful daughters and 7 grandchildren, and the love of his life, Dana.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Kellow; his 3 children, Jocelyn (Jeremy) Hickle, Fortville, IN, Keely (David) Kellow, Pendleton, IN, and Chelsea (Patric) Bauer, Anderson, IN; 6 grandchildren, Tristan Kellow, Rylend Hickle, Chevy Helsell, Kinley Helsell, Oaklyn Hickle, and Wynonna Hickle. Other survivors include his brother, Jay Kellow, Daleville, IN; his sister, Teresa (Rick) Kellow Cox, Muncie, IN; his uncle, James Donald Sharp, Murfreesboro, TN; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Kellow; mother, Betty Kellow; grandparents, Montie and Lydia Kellow and Edd and Pearline Sharp; sister, Deniece Glackin; and grandson, Gage Helsell.
A memorial service celebrating Greg's life will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 12 pm, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Ave., Muncie, IN 47304. Friends may visit with the family from 10 am until the time of the service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend an invitation for all who loved Greg to join them at the Columbus Avenue Church of Christ, 4620 Columbus Ave, Anderson, IN 46013, for a meal and fellowship, immediately following the service.
