Donald Lee Marker III, 16, of Muncie, passed away at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 after an accident. He was born Thursday, August 5, 2004, the son of Donald Lee Marker Jr. and Deborah (Pomeroy) Marker.
Donald was a lifelong resident of Muncie. He had just finished his junior year in Yorktown High School, and attended Life Point Church with his grandmother. Donald loved to fish and skateboard. He liked classic rock music, playing video games and hanging out with his friends. He will be deeply missed.
Donald III is survived by his loving parents, Donald Jr. and Deborah; his brother, Eli; his two sisters, Emilee and Ashlee; his maternal grandmother, Mary Pomeroy; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his big sister, Megan; paternal grandparents, Donald Lee Marker Sr. and Sandra Kay Deilkes; paternal step-grandfather, William Bill Deilkes; and maternal grandfather, Byron Pomeroy.
Friends and family may call Monday, June 14, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.
Services will be held Monday, June 14, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks are required as well as social distancing. Graveside services will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park immediately following the service.
