Diane K Herbert

Muncie- Diane K. Herbert, age 69, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017. Diane was born October 5, 1947 in Bedford, Indiana to Verlin and Marian (Downey) Hammons. Diane was a member of True Light Baptist Church, Golden Eagles at Eagles Lodge #231. She also enjoyed dancing, going camping, playing Bingo, and especially being surrounded by her family. Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Garland "Donnie" Herbert, and brother Wayne Hammons. She is survived by her daughters Roxanna (Robert) Wright, and Tina Herbert; grandsons Brandon (Nikki) Carroll, and Michael Carroll and several great grandchildren. Diane is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and her special nephew Dwayne Hammons; sister-in-laws Mona Hammons, and Patricia Cooper, and brother-in-law Gerald (Shirley) Herbert. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Diane will be Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Ave, Muncie at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 9:00 am till the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
