Carolyn L. Haggard died on December 2, 2024 at age 80. She was born in Warsaw, Indiana, the daughter of Ruth and Gerald L. Crowl, Sr of Dewart Lake.
Carolyn graduated from Milford High School in 1963 and went on to graduate from Ball State University with an Undergraduate, a Masters and a Doctorate of Education degree. In her career, she was an educator and superintendent of schools. She loved her tuxedo cats, art, shopping and lake life.
Carolyn is survived by two sisters, Sandra Crowl Bromley and Nancy (Crowl) Warrick; a niece Kristen Bromley; two nephews Cody and Craig Bromley; and a friend Charles Stone (Rocky.)
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Harold Haggard (Rick); her parents; her brother Jerry Crowl and a friend Gary Crane.
No visitation is planned, with a private family burial.
