Carolyn F. Dobbs

She was born April 27, 1941 in Cooperative, Kentucky, the daughter of Hershell and Henrietta Koger.

Carolyn married the love of her life, Carter Dobbs, on March 7, 1958 and together they spent 62 beautiful years making memories and spending time together on the porch swing. She was an active member of the Memorial United Baptist Church, and loved reading her Bible. In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed taking rides out at the reservoir and spending quality time with her family.

Survivors include daughter-in-law, Pamela Dobbs of Muncie; granddaughter, Tasha (Gary) Cook of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; grandson, Justin Dobbs (fiance, Kati Cooper) of Muncie; great-grandchildren, Arianne and Tyler Cook of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; brother, Roger (Catherine) Koger of Muncie; sister, Sue (Howard) Bell of Muncie; special brother-in-law, Jack Dobbs of Muncie; several nieces, nephews and other close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Carter Dobbs; son, Wayne Dobbs; and parents, Hershell and Henrietta Koger.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Elm Ridge Memorial Park, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304 weather permitting. Should weather be bad, the service will be moved to the North Chapel of Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
