He was born Saturday, July 12, 1969 in Montgomery County, Indiana. The son of Jim and Leslie Wagner of Muncie, Indiana.
He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1988, attended Ball State University, and Ivy Tech. Brad married his love of his life Donald Taylor on April 08, 2016. He worked at Ball Memorial Hospital dietetics where he met his husband of 27 years in the fall of 1996, and was Manager of Rack Room Shoes at various locations for 26 years.
Brad deeply loved his family, loved to entertain, planning themed parties, cooking, gardening, swimming, crafts, watching hummingbirds around his pool. He also loved to hike mountain trails, relax on the beach and spend time at home with his family.
Brad was a ray of sunshine. His goofy, adorable smile would light up the world around him. He was so kind to everyone and always had a smile, hug, or some food for them. He was extremely smart, funny, hard working and loved to joke around and laugh. Brad was the soft voice, gentle touch, and voice of reason. He found so much comfort and joy being a part of his nephews and nieces lives. He was all of these things and much more.
Brad will be greatly missed by his husband Donald Steven Taylor ll, his son, Jadon Taylor. His parents Jim and Leslie Wagner, sister, Melanie Bowling (Andy), brother, Ryan Wagner (Amber), two nieces, Katelyn Bowling, and McKenna Wagner, and one nephew, Bryson Wagner. Nephews, Joshua Taylor, Jason Meirs, Ethan Welton. Nieces Jessica Runyon (Taylor), Ashley Meirs, Elissa Welton and Victoria Cornelison. Great nephews, Rowen, Rylan, Anders, Liam, Cory, and Kaycen. Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends, especially his best friend, Sabrina.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Mary Oswalt, Frank and Georgia Wagner, Aunt Marcia, mother in-law Shelia Taylor, cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Brad will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 23 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
